ABOUT ME

My Background

My name is La'Netha Jefferson.  I received my Bachelors degree (2012) from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.    I am from Houston, Texas and currently live in Humble, Texas.  My hobbies are listening to music, singing, watching movies, family/friend game nights, travelling, and watching sports.
I just completed my 9th year of teaching. I am currently the Head Choir Director at Teague Middle School in Aldine ISD.  I also sing professionally with the Houston Symphony Chorus. 
I am so happy to be a part of the Educational Leadership program at the University of St. Thomas.  I am seeking a degree in Leadership because I want to have a bigger impact on student growth and student lives.  I have learned so much in this program so far, and I am looking forward to learning more about Educational Leadership.
