INTERNSHIP PROJECT

The Major Initiative I have been working on is the new Teague Middle School Positive Reinforcement Incentive Plan (PRIP). After analyzing data from our Math, Social Studies, & ELA STAAR assessments and school wide assessments, I along with the Leadership Team, have identified major academic improvements that are needed in these subject areas. I also looked at discipline data to analyze infractions around the school. I wanted to find a way to both impact student learning and discipline in the school.  In doing research, I found that positively celebrating students for their efforts can have positive results with discipline and academics.
